First, we’ll check out photos and real samples of flint corn to see all the amazing colors and shapes. Next, young artists will draw the shape of their corn with crayons, then add watercolors to make each kernel stand out in bright, shiny colors. The crayons create a cool “resist” effect so the colors pop right off the page!
Each masterpiece can be bright and abstract or carefully detailed – every artist decides their own style.
Supplies provided: watercolor paper, crayons, paints, and real corn to inspire the fun!
