FIGMENT is a free participatory arts event that celebrates creativity by challenging artists and participants to find new ways to create, share, and dream. It encourages the creation and display of participatory and interactive art by emerging artists across disciplines. For this weekend, FIGMENT is partnering with Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, to host an event where nothing is for sale and everyone is invited to create and connect. Often referred to as a ‘Burning Man for Families,” it is a delightful experience of art in process and in the wild.
The event will take place in front of the “Front Five Buildings” along Richmond Terrace in Snug Harbor from the Northeast Meadow where the Neptune Fountain is to the Northwest Meadow, home of the Randall statue.
Saturday: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
