Emily Gulati of Illuminart Productions will be leading a Shadow Puppetry Workshop on Sunday, January 8. Participants will make shadow puppets and then use them to create a puppet play. Early childhood research has found puppets to be helpful in language, emotional, and social development as well as in encouraging the use of gross motor and story telling skills. Sessions will be held at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
