YOU MAY BE PHOTOGRAPHED, VIDEOTAPED, OR AUDIO RECORDED IN THE STATEN ISLAND CHILDREN’S MUSEUM (SICM).
Periodically, staff members and authorized professionals, with museum ID, will take pictures or videos of our visitors to help us show funders how their grants are benefitting our visitors, to promote the museum, and to help us fundraise to support the exhibits and programs we offer. Unless specifically noted at the time, we do not collect any names of subjects or associate any names with the pictures or videos.
By entering SICM, all visitors irrevocably grant to SICM the right to photograph their image and record their voice on video, and to own, license and assign and/or use the same (and/or any portion thereof) forever and throughout the world in any manner and/or medium including, without limitation, at SICM events and programming and in the advertisement and promotion thereof.
Visitors will not receive any payment for such use and waive any right to bring any action in law or equity against SICM, and related companies, subsidiaries (whether or not wholly –owned), affiliates, divisions, and their past, present, an d future officers, agents, representatives, employees, successors and assigns for such use.
Guardians and parents permitting entry for the children under the age of eighteen are bound by the terms set herein for their children as well.
If you do not agree to the above terms and do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please enter your name on the Daily Do Not Film List at the front desk at each visit and share your preference with our photo/videographers.
