Walter has worked in the arts for over 30 years\, training at the Harkness House for Ballet Arts and became a member of the Harkness Ballet of New York. Presently\, he is the director of Dance Of The Village Elders\, a dance and fitness program for senior citizens\, and an adjunct professor at the College of Staten Island. The NYC Office of Emergency Management is hosting a Family Emergency Preparedness Festival at the Staten Island Children’s Museum to promote family and community disaster and emergency planning now and throughout the year. \nAdmission to the Children’s Museum and Festival is free with online registration from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Join us to learn how to prepare your family\, parents\, kids\, pets\, and business to be ready if disaster strikes. Kids can meet emergency responders and check out their vehicles.
